The Medieval Mass this year is presented as part of the New York Festival of Mediæval Music & Liturgy, a four-day conference featuring lectures and presentations on relevant topics. Special guests include the renowned group Cappella Pratensis from Belgium and Professor M. Jennifer Bloxam of Williams College. As always, the mass is presented after the use of the period, without anachronisms such as English language, the modern pipe organ, or electric light.
